new flavors each week, inspired by those around us.
in a time far, far away (April 2024) the concept for this tiny little project was fully formed. batches of ice cream, cookies and frozen dough balls to save and bake for yourself, or others, later. the flavors would be inspired by a lifetime of moments from our favorite pop culture TV shows and movies (Monica trying to figure out Phoebe's grandmother’s cookie recipe or that one episode of Max & Ruby where they make birthday cakes for their grandmother) along with the food stories from friends that share and make up the community around us.
today, we release one new flavor each week. we alternate between cookies and ice cream, with special drops for the holidays and other moments throughout the year. our batches are available in perpetuity (with some exceptions), ready for you to stash in your freezer, pantry, or—let’s be real—your stomach. totally your call.
ingredients & freshness are always top of mind.
we’re always trying to find the balance between the best ingredients and cost—especially as the cost of groceries has risen throughout the years. we aim to find the freshest ingredients, made in a sustainable way and from animals that are treated well. every egg we use comes from a hen living in a cage-free environment, ensuring better living conditions for them and better treats for you!
while we don’t have a storefront just yet, our second priority is post bake or churn! long story short, our cookies and ice cream are made to pick up or deliver. we bake our cookies and churn our ice cream as close to pick up, delivery or shipping as possible, and each cookie is sealed within an hour of baking, complete with a label that includes the flavor, ingredients, and other important details—custom stickers are always available as an add-on!
the founder’s story.
once upon a time there lived a young boy. throughout his childhood, his mother sewed his Halloween costumes, baked his birthday cakes, and helped him craft his early school projects, teaching him that creating could be both fun and challenging. during the summers, he spent time at his grandmother’s house, slowly maneuvering down grocery store aisles and cooking up new recipes together while watching the Food Network. every year during the holidays, he and his family would travel to his grandmother’s home for a huge, homemade feast...
as he grew older, his grandmother moved closer to his home and he’d start to spend weeknights with her and his aunt, learning new ways to cook a chicken or bake a cake. over time his interests peaked more towards baking and other colder desserts. he’d spend his adolescent years learning to bake cookies and cupcakes, attempting sourdough starters and churning homemade ice cream. until one day, he moved away for college and left behind his new found interest…
years later, he found an apartment of his own and, after so long away from the kitchen, he finally began to cook once again. flash forward a couple years and he began to host weekly dinner parties and brunches for friends and family. he loved that it allowed him to try new recipes and create space for community—a buzzword, but a necessity for happiness, he thought! every party or brunch there was always someone who would say something along the lines of “would you ever think about starting a business?” finally, one spring evening, he began to think about the answer to those questions.
